turnover of over £1,000,000 to come out to Africa
This is truly a unique opportunity to directly face the issue of poverty and work alongside an international
development charity, the village Chief and Elders to make a meaningful contribution to reducing poverty in
very poor communities.
Registered Charity Village by Village is looking to recruit and challenge successful British
business leaders to improve the living standards in a remote Ghanaian village. The business
leaders will need to use their commercial skills to tackle the seemingly hopeless issue of poverty by
working together to assist people living in a remote rural village.
To help get their ideas off the ground, each entrepreneur will have donated £10,000 to a joint fund.
They'll be exchanging five-star lifestyles for two weeks living in a camp without running water
or electricity. As an international development charity we want to discover what lessons
can be
learnt from giving a group of successful business people the opportunity to try and tackle some of the
problems of poverty.
The business leaders need to
be available between 12th August - 24th
